For transactions under €250, it thus allows eligible HiPay merchants to achieve up to 95% frictionless 3-D Secure, enabling them to offer an uninterrupted shopping experience thanks to simplified, passive authentication that minimizes end-customer intervention.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
To benefit from Safe’R By CB with HiPay, you must meet several criteria:
- carry out CB transactions through Fast’R By CB,
- maintain a low fraud rate,
- send the data required by CB in the 3-D Secure authentication protocol,
- express a preference for frictionless at the authentication stage.
This program has two levels:
- for CB payments between €0 and €100,
- for CB payments between €100 and €250, with more stringent requirements.

- Shipping indicator,
- Cardholder account age indicator.
Safe’R By CB applies to all your CB payments for Customer Initiated Transactions (CITs).
However, subscriptions and recurring/installment payments are excluded from the program, in accordance with the PSD2 directive.
Please note: HiPay merchants whose fraud rate exceeds the thresholds required by CB or who fail to send the data required by CB will lose the benefit of the Safe’R By CB program.
